After collecting the fierce criticism offered by this unfulfilled first-party product user during the current video game generation, Microsoft has jacked its sleeves by buying new studios and starting to plan a more prosperous future for the next Xbox consoles, starting of course with Project Scarlett.
Several studios, such as Ninja Theory, The Initiative, and InXile Entertainment are currently working on unfamiliar projects, and many hope that these developers can create new franchises to write the story of the Xbox brand.
However, the core of the Microsoft community is also the desire to return some of the sleep series that have become synonymous with the Xbox in the past. One of them is certainly Perfect Dark, whose return had been rumored a few months ago. In an interview with Game Informer, Matt Booty of Xbox Game Studios wanted to make it clear that the Redmond giant has not forgotten either Perfect Dark or any of the company’s iconic franchises:
“I also have a list of IPs on my list. It’s right next to the series of studies we want to talk about! So we are aware [that we own Perfect Dark], yes. “
In recent months, it has been rumored the franchise has been restarted, with a new chapter as a third-person shooter. To undertake such a demanding restoration, a study full of enthusiasm must take the right initiative. as happened with Killer Instinct and then with the upcoming Battletoads: just say “Ah, nobody has worked with us for some time, we can reboot.” is not enough from the perspective of Microsoft. Would you like to restart the Perfect Dark series?
